I am a catholic.
When issues of great moral importance, are given an airing on the media, and in particular the BBC, for which a licence is paid, it is only right that a discussion panel includes a fair balance of views. This has not been the case. to deny or restrict the views of any sector,
denies listeners their rights to judge a matter based on all the available information.
That labour government was in serious breach of this as Gordon Brown was so keen to show off the 'brave new world' image that he was ready to sacrifice human material.
There was a world of expert scientific opinion, claiming that stem cell research had provided great advances and cures, whereas up till then embryonic experimentation had produced none.
Gordon did not allow those who supported stem cell research to sit on the committees.
NB.People of the faith outnumber those who don't believe nearly three to one, but we people of faith do not seek a three-to-one representation by the media. we would just be happy to be fairly heard. If you feel your group is not being fairly represented, insist on the basis you are a licence and tax payer. Bede
